Summary
SunSpire steps out of retirement to test out the latest generation of Mecha Man is worth and finds that Mecha Man Blue is much more entertaining than the late Mecha Man Astral. It's the banter that hooks him and makes him stir up trouble time and time again, baiting out LA's favourite new hero.
Mecha Man Blue can't stop clashing with the Scourge of California, SunSpire. At first, he finds it frustrating that his father's old nemesis always defeats him, but he can't deny that he feels a certain attraction to his supposed enemy. He looks forward to the thill of their battles, the physical and mental push and pull with the unbeatable SunSpire.
Attraction doesn't pay the bills, however, and as repair costs loom, Mecha Man stops coming to Sunspire. So SunSpire comes to him instead.

Flambae has felt fine at work; he felt great when they went out for drinks. Got drunk, stared at his dispatcher’s ass for a while, debated making him food, and inevitably got dragged home by Prism.
He felt fine going to bed, and he felt fine when he woke up. Flambae only had a mild hangover, somehow.
