    Three years after the end of Transformers: Prime, Earth has finally grown quiet. With Cybertron slowly rebuilding, Optimus Prime returns to work alongside Team Bee in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, hunting the remaining escaped Decepticons scattered across the planet. As far as the universe knows, Megatron vanished long ago without a trace.

    But hidden on the dark side of Earth’s moon lies Megatron’s lifeless body, buried beneath layers of lunar dust. During a private engineering expedition, a human astronaut accidentally discovers the remains — and two weak but living sparks still glowing inside Megatron’s dead spark chamber.

    Unable to abandon them, the astronaut secretly brings the sparks back to Earth and creates small Cybertronian proto-bodies to keep them alive. Raised in isolation, the twins grow up learning human behavior, human emotions, and human life. They know nothing about Cybertron, the Autobots, the Decepticons, or the war connected to their existence.

    Until one day, everything changes.
