Summary
After a schoolyard brawl, Ochako and Katsuki become best friends, joined by a dream of being heroes...together.
But, it soon becomes clear that Katsuki's explosive, dangerous quirk (not to mention generally unpleasant personality) is not suitable to hero culture- where likeability is everything. They soon diverge down equally destructive and lonely paths. Katsuki is bitter and resentful toward the society that threw him off and Ochako lives every day under the expectations and the weight of a crumbling hero cultures. When they collide again, as hero and villain, tensions and tempers flair, along with memories, affection, and an attraction that neither can deny.

This wasn't what I expected going into the villain/hero fic, but what I got instead was so much better that what I imagined.
Here, in a world were the hero commission was truly f*cked, it forces Bakugou on quitting his dreams of being a hero since his quirk was more duited for villainy. So that indeed was the path he took
Uraraka is nothing more that a pretty face to cover their screw ups, becoming increasingly sadder and more hollow until she meets Bakugou again, now on the opposite side of the spectrum.
It had all the best tropes and so much Ochako love it makes my heart sing.
