When Alex set up a Herobrine shrine in her basement, she didn't actually expect anything to come of it. Herobrine wasn't real, obviously. But then strange things started happening, and she couldn't deny it for long. The only question after that was what to do about it.
Herobrine, on the other hand, was having a great time. Or he was, for a bit. But every joke got stale, and Alexandra was no different in that regard. Maybe he should try something different with this one.

Alex summons Herobrine, shenanigans and perhaps even friendship follow. Complete with a full cast of the other Minecraft default skins, all of which I have decided have personalities now. Also everyone is queer, because I said so.

Summary
You never realize what loneliness feels like until you’re truly alone. Sure, you can be lonely in a crowd, but at least there are still people. But that loneliness doesn’t hold a candle to true loneliness - the loneliness that comes from being the only human around, the loneliness that comes to you in the deepest woods and most barren wastelands. It’s a painful, pitiable feeling, that loneliness. It starts in your chest and works outwards, eating away at your insides like a candle devours its wick until you’re nothing but a shell.
There used to be so many people here. Where have they all gone?

Shiro had just been pronounced dead, Keith had been kicked from the Garrison, and it had been a rough few months. After years of avoiding it, Keith finally visited his father's grave. Hoping that maybe he could finally let go and move on. But as the clouds rolled in and the smell of decay rose from the earth, life started to take a turn for the bizarre.
