Summary
Felix has been talking about wanting a kitten for a year. A year that Chris has been taking notice of, anyway. He watches cat videos as much as Minho does, has bonded with Minho over it, and Chris may have gotten it in his head that he’s going to be the one to help Felix get his kitten. And he’s going to do it for Felix’s birthday.
Or maybe not his birthday, as the kitten isn’t ready to come home in September.
So Chris adjusts. Struggles not to tell Felix that “You’ll have one soon, mate” or that he just needs to “Wait a bit,” for his kitten to come, and instead talks in vague futures of Felix having a kitten and Chris having Berry together in their own place. It’s hard not to drop hints that Felix will get a kitten for Christmas, but Chris manages.
