Summary
Percy only wanted to enjoy a nice, pleasant hangout (NOT A DATE) with his good friend, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, while he was in between missions. Unfortunately, the war against Kronos had made him forget that the mortal world could be just as crazy as the mythical one.
So he was a bit surprised when they were forced to stop because the street that they had been trying to get through was closed because some punk thought it was a good idea to fight the Avengers.
At least this didn't seem to be too big a fight. The Avengers would probably have this asshole taken care of in no more than five minutes.
...why does the villain look like his cousin?

Summary
Percy Jackson is well used to being in the thick of things. Of life and death, of adrenaline and fear rushing through his veins. But its been a good couple years of peace, and while the random quest here or there shakes up his routines, nothing much goes on lately. Which makes his itchy and tight skin, his raised hackles and unsettled instincts all the more...well, unsettling. Sue him, Annabeth is more into synonyms than he is, ok?
But the other foot finally comes crashing down when some suit clack men-in-black come knocking at his door. The eyes he feels on him only make the ants crawling up and down his spine all the more intense. He can tell the next months of his life are going to be just as harrowing, if not more immently annoying, as any other moment in his 24 years of life.
