Summary
Among every researcher of the Herta Space Station, there are two rules that go without saying.
One: whenever Madam Ruan Mei pays one of her infamous visits, idling anywhere near Madam Herta’s office is strictly off-limits.
And two: whatever muffled, strange noises that follow? Don’t ask. Don’t wonder.

Summary
Samin stilled. She walked to the nearest armchair and sat down. “Okay. I’m sitting. What’s wrong with Sayeon?”
White struggled past the lump in his throat. “Sayeon is dead.”
“The fuck you mean she’s dead.” His boss stood up. Quick, sharp steps. She knelt in front of him and grabbed his shoulders. “How?”

Summary
Sara is more than grief wedged in her chest. More than the tightness that wraps itself around her heart squeezing until she gives out. More than the frustration of wishing she could have done more. More than the ghost haunting her in her dreams.
Sara is…her world. Her sun. Her star.

Summary
Sayeon Lee chokes on her aberrancy every day of her life.
Even before she knows what her essence looks like, she's still quite visibly an aberrant- after all, only an aberrant could survive Rapture harvesting. Only an aberrant could survive the kind of stress that leaches all color from their bodies.
Only an aberrant could be known as "the weakness of the Sea Wolves." Given that such comments are usually made in reference to her ghostly appearance, she can only imagine that she's living evidence of their failure, not least because she refuses to be anybody's weakest link.
