Mairon was not the Maia the stories make him out to be. He was not a creature that went willingly beneath the Great Enemy’s Yoke, the Hated Sauron, the Master of Malice, the Great Deciever with his pretty, silver words.
Mairon was a Maia who remained loyal and was taken anyway, into the depths of a hell made of iron, and made to submit.
Unfortunately for all involved, he did not remain the only one stolen.

This is a short, silly story of how the ancient matriarchs of the Wizarding world take on Voldemort and win, then reform the world in their image, that is to say, far better mannered of course.

Summary
When the Fellowship failed and the Ring was taken, Erestor did not expect to make his last stand in the valley of Imladris against a balrog of legend. He did not expect to face the horrors of the First Age while fighting side by side with his friends and the ones he considered family. And when he fell to that same balrog Erestor did not expect to wake up in a place that was impossible, in a time that was impossible, and find that the world as he knew it was completely flipped in this new reality he found himself in.
But when Erestor found a young Elrond and a young Elros in a keep swarming with elves of legend, Erestor knew that there would be no power on Arda or beyond that would be able to tear him away from those children now. Erestor was going to keep what was left of his family safe, no matter what it took. Little did Erestor know that he has not come back alone and that the oath he swore to keep the children safe would change the course of the world he now found himself in forever.

Edward Elric has to be the unluckiest human alive. After saving the lives of hundreds of people (not that Mustang is going to focus on that), his arm and leg are completely destroyed. With his parts on back order for four weeks and no work for him in East City, Mustang has no choice but to send him to the most boring assignment on the planet: joining the effort to reorganize Central Command's Records Room.
It's supposed to be an easy, simple, boring four weeks. But this is Edward Elric we're talking about. Of course he's going to stumble into some trouble. He'll just have to figure out a way to deal with the problem while down two limbs and away from Mustang and the rest of the team.
