Summary
Ten years ago, Wednesday Addams broke Enid Sinclair’s heart and disappeared from her life.
Now twenty-eight, Enid has finally built something stable for herself and her nine-year-old daughter, Tetarti: a teaching job, a safe little Pennsylvania town, and a surprisingly affordable house across from the supposedly eccentric old woman who lives at Whisperwood House. Teta, naturally, befriends the creepy neighbor almost immediately.
There is only one problem.
The reclusive writer at Whisperwood isn’t an old woman.
She’s Wednesday.
Neither Wednesday nor Enid has truly moved on from what happened between them, and neither is prepared for what happens when ten years of secrets, hurt, love, and one very stubborn little girl put them back in each other’s lives.
A story about second chances, motherhood, chosen family, and learning that loving someone doesn’t give you the right to make their choices for them.

Revali sputtered into a stunned silence.
“Bullshit, that’s impossible!” His feathers rustled as he balked. “He was sent by the demon king!”
“We know that, but— he has the mark of the goddess on his hand,” Urbosa snapped. “The rest of us saw it. If you don’t believe it, you can see for yourself.”
The Rito didn’t even deign to give the unconscious swordsman a glance.
“Hero or not, we’re not letting him off the hook just like that,” Revali’s voice climbed an octave. “He’s too dangerous— we saw what he’s capable of. We have to kill him while he’s still weakened!”
“We aren’t killing him,” Zelda asserted again. This time, she lifted her eyes. Her voice held a note of cautiousness, but it was still unshakeable.
“If we’re to even hope to defeat the demon king, we need the hero on our side. We have to take him with us.”
In which Link was raised as Ganon’s right hand man, but Zelda and the Champions snatch him away.
