Getting into the restricted section of the lab to destroy the evidence Valentina wanted was proving to be more difficult than she had expected—damn facial recognition scanners. But the little critter was cute and brightened her mood somewhat. Unfortunately for her, the tiny animal only licked its paws, offering no assistance to the former Black Widow assassin-cum-glorified gofer…or garbage collector? “No? Hmm. You’ve got your own problems, I guess.”
