"And you are?" Lena says, holding her hand out to shake. Kara takes it, and puts in every effort not to crush it in her nervousness. Lena's hand is dry and cold where Kara's is uncomfortably hot.
"Kara Danvers," Kara says, putting on her best smile. "Reporter. It's great to meet you, I think we really – "
"Ah, Kara Danvers. The newest addition to the roster, and yet one who has her own private office on the 21st floor," Lena interrupts.

''I'm not unhappy, Kara.'' Lena breaks the silence after a while of Kara just looking at her and her staring at the leaf-covered sky.
''I didn't say anything.'' Kara replies, her eyes not leaving Lena.
''You don't have to. I can see how you look at me.''
''How do I look at you ?'' [...]
''Like I'm not as happy as the woman in the framed picture.'' She states, this time, looking at Kara.
Kara only looks at her, not really knowing what to say. Like Lena said earlier, this kind of pictures are meant to look like happy family portraits, but Kara knows she was actually as happy as the picture made it look when she took one with the Danvers.
Kara shrugs, ''Maybe, you could just change the picture.''
OR, In the need of a place to stay in National City, Kara finds herself staying at James Olsen and Lena Luthor's house, watching over their kids in exchange of their spare bedroom. And Kara quickly realises the family isn't as happy as their framed pictures let on.
OR OR, Lena is in an unhappy relashionship and Kara is the new Nanny.

Summary
Kara opens the latch on the window but takes a moment to look back at a lazily stretching Lena Luthor tangled in her purple sheets, looking too much like a morning after than an innocent sleepover amongst friends. Lena quite deliberately pulls her bottom lip between her teeth as she smiles at the unmoving hero a few feet away. Kara’s mouth goes dry, her head light and fuzzy.
Rao she’s so beautiful.
AKA In post Lex Luthor world, Kara struggles to figure out how she really feels about Lena and how Lena maybe, possibly feels about her.

Summary
Long ago, the Fire Nation attacked the Air Nomads and killed all but one: Kal-El. At least, that's what everyone thought, until one day Alex, Winn, and James come across Kara frozen into a block of ice. Soon enough, they find that not only is she one of the last remaining airbenders, but also the Avatar.
Lena Luthor only wants to help her nation, and the best way she can do that is preventing her brother Lex from ever becoming Fire Lord. The way she plans to accomplish this is to capture the Avatar and secure her spot on the throne before him.
Kara, with her new friends, has to travel across the world as she tries to find her long lost cousin while mastering all four elements, in the hopes of stopping the Fire Nation and restoring peace to the world. But it's difficult to do that when there's an infuriatingly smart Fire Nation princess trying to capture her the entire time.
