The next day, Siuan entered the lecture hall at exactly 9:01 a.m. Not even close to being the last one this time. The professor had just arrived herself. Again, the seats around the girl from yesterday were free, and of course that’s where Siuan sat.
“Good news,” Siuan whispered. “I got the job. Guess your good-luck wishes worked.”
The girl smiled, and it was the most enchanting smile.
“I’m so glad”, she said smiling.
“So… you didn’t tell me your name.”
Again, she paused a fraction too long, wearing a faintly puzzled expression before it smoothed away.
“My name is Moiraine.”

Summary
University AU where Francesca is supposed to be in a perfectly loving relationship with her boyfriend, John, with a sensible future of marriage and children on the horizon, right up until John's cousin, Michaela Stirling, returns from a sabbatical abroad and Francesca finds herself, suddenly, hopelessly curious about another woman in ways that are utterly nonsensical.
Now Francesca finds herself unable to stay away and trying very hard not to think about why telling Michaela she and John are dating feels like it would ruin everything. Surely keeping that little detail about her relationship status cannot be seen as lying if Michaela never asked. Right?

This fanfic is based on the movie "Love and Wine" (and yes, I only watched it for Masali ;) but it’s only an inspiration, so don’t expect a copy-paste adaptation!
