Summary
Trapper, reluctantly, shifted so his chin was propped in one hand. There were bags under his eyes that Hawkeye didn’t think had been there an hour before, though they were less obvious than they might have been with red rimming to distract from them. Trap’s curls were pressed to his forehead and beneath his nose was red and raw.
Hawkeye had never seen him cry before. He supposed he still hadn’t.

After Trapper's patient dies and Hawkeye finds him ready to take his anger out on the POW who did it, Hawkeye takes him to the mess tent to make matcha and calm him down.

“Hawkeye, please.” Trapper’s voice was concerned, but steady.
Hawkeye’s eyes were torn from his patient and fell on Trapper’s grave face. There was no dust in his hair. No blood on his shirt.
“Hawkeye, stay still.”
Hawkeye stared at him, heart pounding but breath starting to stabilize. He swallowed.
“It’s alright.”
His head hurt.Hawkeye experiences a different version of "Aid Station," and all the trauma that comes with it. Trapper takes care of him.
