Cassie-080 was by all accounts fairly unremarkable for her class. During the evaluation process for suitable candidates, it was noted that beside meeting the required parameters that she had above average reaction time. These traits were further enhanced by the augmentation process, making her a suitable fighter in close-quarter engagements and mission types that carry unpredictable variables. However - like her utilization - it should be noted she can be impulsive and any potential promotions should be considered cautiously.

Summary
Tensions continue to boil between the Greater Americas and the Union of Progressive Peoples. In a bold, potentially war-provoking move, the UPP invaded and occupied the outer farming colony of LV-779. The otherwise insignificant colony is easily taken and shows no hypothetical tactical advantage for the occupying force. Unable to stomach the knowledge the colonists are being made into examples for the UPP's propaganda, a detachment of marines is sent to liberate the colony. More is at stake on LV-779 than anyone realizes, providing the exact ingredients for a perfect storm.
