Summary
Elizabeth is happy to leave Netherfield and not just because her beloved sister Jane is finally well again. She found being in Mr. Darcy’s near constant presence a bit suffocating. The man was infuriating, supercilious, and prideful. However, just when she gets back to Longbourn, she is forced back into his presence when she witnesses a highway robbery. Will a second forced cohabitation allow Elizabeth to see Mr. Darcy as anything but an arrogant self-important man?

Elizabeth saw the dog approaching and froze in place. It barged into her in its quest to reach the greenery on the other side of the bridge and she lost what loose footing she had. Her consciousness remained only long enough for her to conjure an image of Mr Darcy before she hit her head on the bridge and everything went dark.
