James’s question, well timed so it came out delayed from the others exclamations, made Draco tense. The children watched as the adult’s spine straightened and shoulders squared. It felt like a winter chill had sliced through the summer heat. Scorpius wanted to slide down his seat and fall into the earth. Hugo had turned so red, his mother was certain he had transformed into a tomato. James was smug and Albus dropped his forehead heavily to the table. Hermione blinked slowly, her eyes wide when they reopened.

In which Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger get outed by their and Harry Potter's children for their obvious mutual pining. The story of their begrudging friendship turned situationship turned whatever it is now with interjecting chapters from present-day.
