Suppertime.
After killing Mushnik, Seymour falls apart. Audrey II tries to put him back together.

One thick vine wrapped itself around his waist and pulled him close to the lukewarm flesh of the plant. He thrashed, trying to struggle away, but the vine’s grip was firm and unyielding.
“What are you—”
“Hasn’t anybody ever hugged you,” Twoey asked. “It’s supposed to be comforting.” Seymour had been hugged before, by Audrey plenty of times. That was comforting. This was not. He tried to tell her as much.
“Relax, Krelborn,” Twoey interrupted, voice smooth and sweet. She brushed his sweaty hair out of his face with a leaf. “We’re friends, right? It’s not like I’m gonna hurt you.”

Seymour is… interesting.
Mushnik’s only had him for a few months now, but he’s somehow managed to be both a boon and a curse for the flower shop. He’s young, cute and he’s got a green thumb bigger than the rest of him, but unfortunately that thumb, while helpful when caring for plants, is not very helpful when it comes to caring for pots. He’s managed to break nearly 20 in the time he’s been here and the cost is starting to add up.

Summary
It started, as a less than average amount of events do, with half a loaf of moldy bread.
Every afternoon, Seymour ate the same plain sandwich with the same canned tuna and the same white bread. He’d half a mind to be worried about his nutrition—the concept of crop rotations should probably apply to people too—if not for the fact that Mr. Mushnik had been doing the same for as long as Seymour knew him, and he was as healthy as a rather stationary old man could be.
