Summary
Draco is constantly being reminded of his obligation as the last remaining male Malfoy. With his father still imprisoned in Azkaban and his 27th birthday coming up (in like 2 years Mother!), the pressure to marry was immense. Hermione is perfectly happy with her current state of affairs. She has just moved into her new research position in the Department of Mysteries. Her primary male companion may be a grumpy old half-kneazle but at least she isn’t spending her spare time trying to explain her work or the importance of picking up after oneself to some medium ugly man. Would she like some intelligent conversation every once in awhile? Someone to pluck the errant cat hair off the back of her new robes? Sure. But she won’t be settling and she won’t be out chasing some man. It will happen when it happens.
