Summary
What if Khione didn't send Leo to Calypso's island?
What if she cursed him with something way worse and difficult to solve?
What if Leo, still guilt-stricken after Annabeth and Percy fell to Tartarus, tries to hide it?

THIS FIC IS BEING REWRITTEN. YOU CAN FIND THE NEW FIRST CHAPTER UNDER THE SAME NAME AND ACCOUNT.
Leo Valdez never really got sick. His skin was permanently warm and protected him like a barrier from any illness (don't ask him how it works, he doesn't know the answer himself).
