Summary
Kevezna and Javelidine were rivals long before their humans became lovers.
Under different beds, in different homes, they competed for the title of the most terrifying monster—Kevezna with her shadowy skin and jagged claws, a living nightmare forged from desperation and legacy; Javelidine with her terrible beauty and quiet dread, cursed to look too human for a monster, too monstrous for her family.
But now, they share a space. And under one bed, rivalries start to unravel. And somewhere in the silence between midnight and morning, the monsters start to see each other in the darkness.
