    Steve held up his hands as ten pairs of eyes – and nine pairs of weapons – turned towards him. All of them looked battle-hardened.

    An alarm went off in his mind: 'Danger!' It screamed. 'Back off!' But, at the same time, he couldn’t help but wonder… What had happened to them?

    “Look, I don’t know why you all think it’s a good idea to dress up as Achilles -”

    A snort from the tall, black-haired boy.

    “But you all need to get out of here, now. It’s dangerous here for kids like you. ”

    They just looked at him – eyebrows raised. Then the impish one started to laugh.

    “Sorry - Did you just say it's dangerous for… kids like us ?”

    Our favorite gang of demigods swoops in to save the day when the Avengers struggle during the battle of New York. There are repercussions.

    Featuring: A constantly anxious Percy Jackson who is very attracted to his girlfriend, a kick-ass and competent Annabeth Chase, and a bunch of traumatized kids who just deserve peace and quiet but probably will not get it.

    Annabeth famously ran away from home when she was seven.

    The lesser known story is what prompted her leave: one of her brothers dying (and her dad lying), and the other faking his death (and her dad lying).

    For years, she swore she’d never go crawling back.

    It was only after the wars were over, and with Percy by her side, that Annabeth was ready to see her mortal family again—the old, the new, and the undead—even if returning to Wayne Manor didn’t mean going home anymore.
