Her eyes shimmered with guilt as she noticed the disappointed looks appearing on each of her boyfriends faces.
“Aww, guys! I'm sorry!” she squeaked. “Don’t be sad.”
“It's okay babe,” Mike replied kindly. He pressed his lips to the top of Beverly's head, causing her to blush a little. “We get it. Things are difficult for you right now. We can do something together tomorrow if you’d like so we still get to spend time with you.”
