Nobody knows why Neuvillette called for one more meeting after so long, like those they had in Poisson. Their purpose has been fulfilled, after all. The archon has been tried, the prophecy has been averted. Fontaine remained, but all that was left of its god was a few droplets of primordial water that got washed away with the flood. They don’t know why, but they know how much harder her death has been on him than on everybody else, and the least they can do is come.

But she always pushes her feelings away, because at least she has everything under control and the Nation is at peace and stable.

Furina yelps when grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the bed as they now bathed in the glow of the moonlight from outside.
“Are you kidding me?” Furina grunts, averting her gaze from Venti as a lovely shade of red painted her cheeks, her heart rate beating unusually fast due to how close they are right now.
“If you can't dance and have fun with your people like you used to, then I'll help you feel like it.” Venti places his hand on her waist and pulls her closer. Furina’s heart rate increases even more.
“Let’s… let’s just get it over with.”
