Summary
Yet another Vegas fix-it fic to add to the hundreds already clogging the fandom archives. Shane is getting that kiss. He’s getting *several* kisses. He’s getting the kisses canon denied him and then some…or my name isn’t "Vegas Kiss Enforcement Officer".

Summary
A hazy, slow-burn study in almosts and maybes, this piece circles two people who can’t quite decide what they are to each other—or maybe they already know, but refuse to say it out loud. It exists in that familiar fandom space where every glance feels loaded and every touch feels like it might mean everything.

Summary
In this poem, Shane is a trans man pondering old photographs and the fractured archive of his life, reckoning with the different versions of himself that appear in the margins. Through hockey, his parents, and his relationship with Ilya, he traces how identity accumulates and shifts over time.

Summary
I started this series in September 2020 with the goal of eventually writing a collection of ten poems, each connected to the HEU in some way, however loosely. The tenth and final poem was completed in April 2026.
I'm not completely satisfied with everything I've shared on AO3. Fanfic is a hobby, and in my case that often translates into excess and melodrama. Even so, I'm genuinely pleased with how this series came together, which is why I've chosen to end it here.
Poetry and lyrical prose aren't especially common in fandom spaces, so I'd like to thank everyone who took a chance on this series and found something to enjoy in it.
