    Summary

Oscar Piastri was eight years old when his soulmate opened their link for the first time and immediately insulted him:

Australians suck. I hope my soulmate isn’t Australian.

    Oscar took that remarkably well.

By which, of course we mean he spent the next fourteen years holding a grudge.

Unfortunately, Lando Norris does not remember any of this.

    --- ALTERNATIVELY ----

    A soulmate bond opens.
    A child says something stupid.
    Another child takes it personally.
Fourteen years later, everyone involved wishes they had made better choices.

    Summary

Oscar refused. He got the proof he needed—the proof that he would be fine to drive for years— and somehow, through pleading and luck, Andrea accepted to keep him on the team as long as he was medically cleared and that he got the team results.

Now, it had been years. 4 years, and the disease got worse every day that Oscar chose to enter the car. If he'd been smart, he'd have decided to quit last year, while the medication still worked perfectly.

Unfortunately, Oscar had convinced himself he would be able to win the championship next year, that he just needed another chance.

    Where did that leave him?

    Or

Oscar has Parkinson. Being forced into retirement is one thing, but he won't let Lando be hurt by this as well.
