The first time she’d truly felt the bond between them had been strange. Ahsoka had told her it was natural, that all masters and padawans shared a connection in the Force. But those first few days had been unsettling—an ever-present awareness of someone else, a quiet hum in the back of her mind that wasn’t entirely her own. Over time, she had grown used to it. In fact, it had proven useful—lately, she and Ahsoka rarely found themselves clashing in opinions. Well, more rarer than usual.

They sit in silence for a while. The stars are out, distant and untouched by the war. Lee doesn’t look at them. His mind focuses on the child next to him. Wonders if, like him, she worries about the lives of her friends always, first and foremost.
“You think my mom’s okay?” Yoo-Jung asks softly, voice breaking the silence.
He doesn’t know how to answer.

“Bloom.” One word and the girl in front of her turned silent. Farah sighed and this time reached for Bloom’s hand to guide her down to settle beside her. Once she had let go, the younger fairy’s hand immediately returned to twisting the edge of her shirt. Pursing her lips, Farah took her hand and kept it in her grasp, forcing the young fairy to look directly into her eyes.
Or in other words apologies are exchanged and they hug. Because I’m tired of all the angst :) (not to say this fic isn’t angsty though- )
