    Somewhere in the snowy French mountain, Louis' rented car breaks down. So, he picks up his backpack and walks to the nearest house to find help. The man he finds there is frosty at best and rude at worst, but undeniably very, very attractive.

    This is your 'stuck-together-in-the-snow-storm' Loustat fic, but add to it a string of dead bodies and perhaps even a killer at large? And to complicate things, they're not telling the truth, and there's the hot, roiling sexual attraction that strips them off all logic and sense of self-preservation. So, will Loustat prevail?

    Louis de Pointe du Lac enjoyed running his flower shop even if it wasn't where he'd pictured himself being. He had a healthy income and an expensive reputation for some of the best bouquets in New Orleans. And then a tattoo shop moved in across the street with tacky vampires drawn in the windows and a loud, decidedly un-classy clientele. He'd dedicate himself to hating it if the blonde tattooist who worked there wasn't so damn hot.

    It's three years since Lestat and Louis reunited in New Orleans. Their relationship has now grown into an easy, amiable coexistence and for once, Louis is content. The publication of Daniel's book put an end to it. Lestat goes awol and Louis buries his head in the sand.

    S3 will no doubt give us miserable, drugged-out Lestat feuding with jealous Louis. In this fic, I want to write them as Loustat who for at least one night, try to (gasp!) communicate like grown-up vampires that they are.
