“That’s so manly.” Eijiro sniffled, sounding choked and Katsuki scoffed. “Do we know him?”
“No. He’s not in the hero course.”
“So he does go to U.A.!”
“Shitty. Hair.” Katsuki turned his head slowly to meet Eijiro’s eyes and narrowed his own, watching the redhead gulp and laugh nervously. “Yes. He goes to U.A., that’s all you need to know. You know too much now actually.”
“Is there where you say I know too much to stay alive?” Eijiro joked but Katsuki’s expression didn’t change. “Bakubro, I was joking! Don’t kill me!”

Summary
Then, it’s announced that the award ceremony is going to start but before they can even begin to announce the three winners, Bakugou is already on the move. The stadium is tense, most of them likely nervous he’s about to freak out again in the way he did last year. Especially when his quirk goes off and he’s flying himself up to the section of the stadium where Mei and Izuku are sitting.
Mei flinches backward but Izuku just stands up, undeterred. He’s got the biggest grin on his face and he… opens his arms? Bakugou flies right into them, giving him a hug. He lifts him up from the ground before pressing their lips together; Izuku laughs into the kiss.
Mei’s brain is running wild, trying to figure out when the fuck that happened. At first she thought, well, his boyfriend isn’t going to be happy about that, but then she realized that Bakugou IS his boyfriend. It makes so much sense now that Mei is actually thinking about it.

In which, "where's the trophy? He just comes running over to me," is just Izuku and Katsuki if Izuku was in the support course and Katsuki won the sport's festival.

Bakugo, although he would never say it out loud, really is grateful for his friends. They’ve stuck by his side since their first year of UA, and for the past two years they have been nothing but supportive, caring, and patient with him during their journey to becoming heroes. He might even go as far as to say that he loves them.
Except for right now. This is the exact opposite of a moment where he would say he loves and appreciates his friends.
