Summary
Yang raised her arms above her head, smiling at the fact the pain in her chest was finally, fully gone, leaving beautiful scars from their surgery that they’d cherish.
It had been almost 3 months since she’d gotten top surgery, something she dreamed about doing for so long but with unfortunate events during a crucial job, they were put on hold. Leaving her now with scars she didn’t seem to mind anymore - Taking pride in them. A few marks on her arm and side, her chest scars, and what was left of their right arm.

Yang laughed loudly and well, Blake couldn’t even pretend to be offended when the person laughing so merrily and beautifully was her girlfriend, so she’d taken to looking instead.
His hair fanned out underneath his head, framing it in a messy golden halo. Blake wanted so badly to brush those hairs, smoothen them out, and her heart skipped a beat when she realised she could now, could do that and so much more.
So she did, and though it helped Yang to calm down from his little laughing fit, the shine in his eyes and his grin didn’t fade away. And as Blake was staring at him from above, all she could think about was how beautiful he was.
So charming, so pretty…
“So handsome.” and Blake hadn’t realised she uttered that out loud until she saw her partner’s eyes grow wide.
