Sorcerer Magazine gave her names like The Black Fairy, Queen of Shadows, and Daughter of Hell. Her siblings gave her names like Kid Fairy, Freak of Nature, and Riri. In her mind, though, she was just plain old Akari, the chronic overachiever.
What else would you call someone who got abandoned by their family two times in just as many years? What else would you call someone who pushed themselves to breaking point in order to reach their goal?
