Summary
“ Ten billion stars felt like an understatement, a careless rounding-up of something infinite. Vernon, who had spent most of his life behind glass panels and dim consoles, understood light the way sailors understand tides, intimately, reverently, with a touch of fear. He knew how brightness could be bent, softened, sharpened into something almost holy. He knew how a single degree of warmth could change the entire feeling of a room.
And yet, Seungkwan’s eyes refused to be measured.”

Summary
Jeonghan isn't too sold on the idea of casting a spell on Seungkwan's behalf and making his friend's hopeless crush fall in love with him to pieces. There are simply too many things that could go south if he's not careful enough, even for such an experienced witch like him.
Like accidentally charming his unfairly gorgeous next-door neighbor with himself instead. Which is exactly what happens when he caves in to help Seungkwan out, of course.

Summary
Seungkwan froze. “…What did you say?”
Hansol didn’t look away this time. If anything, he stepped closer, closing the space Seungkwan had grown used to keeping between them.
“I said,” Hansol repeated, slower now, like he needed Seungkwan to hear every single word, “just because I told you to stop back then… doesn’t mean I didn’t feel anything.”
Seungkwan’s brows pulled together, confusion flashing across his face, quickly chased by something sharper—hurt, maybe, or disbelief.
When he didn’t answer, Hansol stepped forward again.
Seungkwan instinctively stepped back—once, twice—until his back hit the wall behind him. The sudden closeness knocked the breath out of him, Hansol standing right in front of him now, close enough that he couldn’t look anywhere else even if he tried.
The seriousness on Hansol’s face made his chest tighten, his thoughts scrambling.
“I made you stop,” Hansol said, his voice low, steady, leaving no space for doubt, “because I should’ve been the one chasing you.”
Seungkwan’s breath caught
“Not the other way around.”
