Summary
"Behind a lightpole, almost flickering at the edges, was that cursed reflection he kept on seeing. But this time the reflection was given physical form, becoming more than just a trick of the light. It had almost seemed like the world in the proximity of that being had dimmed, turning exceptionally dull in contrast with the bright Sekai all around it.
Tsukasa could feel his breath get caught in his throat, his heart feeling like it was skipping one too many beats. He could only stare back at this mirror image of himself in fear, and almost awe– he couldn’t believe what was happening. The Sekai was already otherworldly as it was, but this was edging on uncanny horror."

Everyone has that part of them they wish to hide, the ugly part of yourself that doesn't deserve the light of day, and Tsukasa was no exception. But what happens when that part of him no longer wants to hide in the shadows.

Barbatos—no- Venti had been feeling off recently. He had heard..whispers. Not the soft sweet whispers of the wind, not the whispers of his lyre, but something more...sinister. He can’t pinpoint it, he can barely make out what the whispers are saying...but he knows whatever it’s saying, it isn’t good.
Is that why he has felt more...disconnected recently?

Summary
Damian first noticed he was different when Mother began teaching him colors.
“Colors are everywhere, Habibi,” mother said, walking slowly to allow Damian to toddle beside her. “The colors people chose to wear can tell much about them. Do you know why we wear green, Damian?”
“To show our ties to nature, and our hope to cleanse and balance humanity.” Damian recited, making sure to use every long word his teachers had beaten into him to memorize.
“Ravi has taught you well,” She slowed, and kneeled in front of a flower bush. She picked a small clematis flower. “What color is this, Damian?”
“Blue,” Damian answered quickly, pride filling his chest when his mother gave a nod of approval.
“Your Fathers eyes were blue,” Talia hummed. “A light blue. The same color as your blanket, only more beautiful. What color are mummy’s eyes, Damian?”
“Grey?” Damian guessed.
Talia reached out to push Damian’s bangs back, and place the Clematis behind Damian’s ear. She frowned disapprovingly. “My eyes are green.”
OR: Damian Wayne is colorblind.

Summary
There’s a sort of desperation—a void-like feeling that isn’t precisely sadness but more of a sensation that crushes Damian’s chest. A boredom clings to him throughout the day, and even while tending to his animals, he finds that the excitement usually associated with it is absent. In fact, a sense of pointlessness arises as he feeds his animals.

It was not as though Damian had never experienced Ivy’s pollen before. Even before the antidote was administered in the previous cases, it was still always bearable if not a little uncomfortable.
