    Charles didn’t even follow him, not since that race weekend years ago. It was a long story involving a track fight, a missed win, and the most awkward flight home in the history of aviation. But of course, the algorithm knew better.

    The photo stopped him. It was just a Black-and-white close-up of Max’s profile, but…
    He stared at it longer than he’d like to admit, then gave in to the impulse.
