Summary
Every culture of note has its dragons. From the fire-breathing behemoths of Western legends to the wise and benevolent serpents of the East, dragons captivate our imaginations and haunt our collective dreams. But why is it that civilizations separated by oceans and millennia share such similar stories of these fantastical creatures? Is it merely a coincidence, a shared quirk of human imagination? Or perhaps, just perhaps, there is a layer of truth to these ancient tales—a hidden reality that has been lost to time…
My interpretation of the ever popular Jon becomes a monster fic! First fanfic I've written for TMA!

Summary
“How long do humans live for, question. Rocky want to know.”
Rocky stamps his claw impatiently on the flat surface of his xenonite ball as he asks, a skittery, jittery movement that rattles in Ryland’s ears.
He sighs. Rubs at his temples. Thinks about how to answer this as diplomatically as physically possible, as at ease as physically possible.
It’s not that he cares much about the fact he’ll be dead long long before Rocky. He doesn’t care about that. He’s probably going to die a whole lot sooner than your average human, anyway, considering his diet of coma-slurry and Taumoeba and little else. Besides, he’s been in space for longer than anybody has been in the history of ever. That’s sure to do messed-up things to his bones and joints and mass and everything. But it doesn’t matter. He’s made peace with that. For-real made peace, because any time more is a thousand times over what he thought he’d get.
What does matter is that Rocky has no idea that there’s probably only about fifty years left in his tank.
***
Or: the average male human lifespan is 80 years. Rocky doesn't know that.

Summary
“Rocky saw.”
His mind races. The what, the ship cams? Did they record Stratt’s men dumping him comatose and still and scared in the ship, did they talk about what they’d done to him? No, that would make sense. Besides, the Hail Mary was in orbit around Erid, not impossible to get to, but not worth it for a nose around. Or – maybe he’d said something in his sleep, and Rocky was only just talking to him about it. That also makes no sense. Or maybe –
“You… saw.”
“Eridians see dream-memories sometimes.”
“That literally makes no sense,” blurts Ryland, and Rocky stamps his feet. The way he’d done back on the ship when something was painfully obvious and Ryland failed to get it. “Sorry. You’re gonna have to explain.”
“Eridians are linked to all Eridians. Erid is like – word need word – database. Database for all Eridians thought memories events. When Eridians sleep, they see other Eridian memories. Didn’t happen on ship because no tie to Erid. Didn’t happen on Mary because no tie to Erid. Rocky saw Grace's memories.”
***
Or: Rocky finds out Grace was forced onto the Hail Mary without his consent, but not really in the way you'd expect.
