Summary
Usagi had finally managed to break Arisu from Mira's grasp through her final act of sacrifice-
-only to succumb to such a fatal injury moments later.
The others shortly followed. Unable to endure the gaping wounds within her stomach, Kuina dies grasping the hand of Ann's corpse. Akane, having used the last of her energy to crawl where Aguni lay, passes mere moments before her companion follows suit. Chishiya and Niragi, unable to do anything but gaze upon the other, watch in fear as their bodies begin to finally expire.
And then there's Arisu. Alive and well, yet now utterly alone.
Oh, and there's also Mira. Maybe she has a solution to such a dilemma. . .
(A.K.A an alternative ending to AIB, in which Arisu exchanges his chance to return to the real world for the lives of his friends. Now he's trapped in Borderland indefinitely, and the only people that could've helped save him now lie in hospital beds with no ability to even recall his face. Will our protagonists regain their memories and venture to save their friend? Even so, is it even possible for Arisu to be saved?)
