    Eight years later, Charles Xavier finds her. The X-Men don’t ask her to shrink. They ask her to stay. To belong. Through stubborn friendship, quiet faith, and learning to fight for people like her, Vicki begins to imagine a future she never believed she deserved.

    And then there’s Logan. He sees the way she flinches, the way she apologizes for breathing, the way she tries to make herself invisible—and challenges all of it. Pushes. Calls her out. Stays anyway.

    He should terrify her.
    Instead, she unsettles him.

    Because Vicki meets darkness with quiet, stubborn hope—and she doesn’t leave people in it alone.
