Summary
Optimus Prime has saved the human race from extinction by enclosing it in a virtual reality where he is now worshiped as God, and he has moved to live in the simulation undercover as a human girl.
However, the simulation is overtaken by rogue AI. FBI Agent William Fowler is tasked to pursue the rogue AI with the aid of its creator, Dr. Carly Witwicky.
Megatron finds out his nightmare is about to come true as Optimus Prime's plan to save humanity is proving out to pose an existential risk to the Cybertronians. -

Summary
A year has passed since the end of the Prime Wars. Cybertron is under the peaceful leadership of the Council of Worlds while the quest for Cyberutopia continues under the guidance of the Lost Light's new captain Star Saber (who is not a religious nutjob in this universe). However, a distress signal from the Autobot Cosmos leads to the discovery of a threat thought to be defeated that has since reemerged and threatens everything apart.
