Summary
Sherlock Holmes and Charles Augustus Milverton didn't expect that the next time they meet each other will be in front of the dead body of the King of Blackmail's agent. Milverton, who was recently hired by the House of Lords to find an incriminating secret of their "black sheep", Albert James Moriarty, is furious that someone robbed him of a useful tool and distracted him from his work - and the murderer can be a member of his information network as well. The King of Media and his secretary are on their own and Milverton needs to act like a detective if he wants to punish the killer.
When Sherlock finds his worst foe with Sherlock's murdered client at his feet, he wishes that it was Milverton who arranged the crime, however, his deductions tell otherwise. But if not the King of Blackmail, then who could it be? Despite his hatred for Milverton, his curiousity doesn't let him to just walk away from the mystery.
The two sworn enemies need to put their differences aside and solve the case together before even more people die. As more and more things come to light and his evil empire is threatened with downfall, Milverton is forced to make new decisions - but will they lead to his demise or an unlimited power?

Sam had read them all. With his bad leg, and Brother Adam and Marcus busy with work, he couldn't really do much else to pass the time but read. He couldn't spend his days endlessly nagging Maggie, who, for all her kindliness, also had her own duties to attend. Or, moreso, he wouldn't—he wanted to grow up to be a gentleman like his brother, after all.
With nowhere to go and a mind craving stimulation and a challenge, Sam read… and he met Cassandra.
