He had twice allowed Asgard's greatest enemies within her borders, leading to the deaths of two of her fine warriors; he had killed his blood father (bile soured in his mouth at the thought); he had helped destroy Asgard's greatest treasure, the Bifröst ("but father," piped Thor, pathetic, like a little baby bird whose mother'd shoved him from the nest, and good riddance "I destroyed the Bifröst-" "Be silent, my son-" "But-") he had lead an army of demons into one of the great cities of an innocent realm; he stood accused of murder, treason, patricide, attempted patricide, attempted fratricide, and a whole host of other things he hadn't bothered to listen to, had he anything to say in his defense?
