Summary
“Peem,” Khem interrupts, fondness overflowing his heart at his lover's worries – as if there was anywhere else he'd rather be. “Look at me. You don't have to worry that much. It's just you and me. I love you. I want you. Do you want me?”
Peem inhales shakily, hands tightening around his waist.
“So much.”
Khem smiles and cradles his face to rub their noses together tenderly. In the glow of the candlelights, Peem's eyes are almost liquid with want.
“Then don't make me wait any longer, hm?”

As he's rummaging through a bunch of exhibition brochures, he hears Peem inhale sharply and looks over to see him holding a familiar package, yet his brain takes a few seconds to fully process.
Then, he panics.
