No Breakup, No Beatles, No Nerk Twins, No Quarrymen, no Woolton Fete. Paul and John never met in Liverpool but somehow the net of fate still draws them together, as young men with so much to still share with each other.

Notes:

Alternate Universe, based on the fact that Alfred Lennon really tried to take young John to New Zealand. What if John grew up outside of Liverpool, with a hard-bearing father, rather than the sole son. Paul grew up a little more lonely, lingering in his grief and unspoken dreams for years. In some ways, they're personalities are mirrored here, Paul grows up a little more like John, feeling abandoned and alone in his emotions. John, who became a working actor to make his own way in life, is more fluid and experimental. A character study in subversion.
