Summary
Do we give our abusers too much credit for our grief? Is it any easier or possible to move on because of that? Should we simply take what's handed to us and work from there or stay true to what we think has let us come this far? The relationship between Wolf's children and Fox is one that is only implied rather than giving any direct exposition or depth in the show Don't Eat the Neighbors. What happened off-screen for Wolf's children to grow accustomed to Fox though?

WARNING: If you have not read The Colour Orange, the first fic in this series, a lot of this probably won't make sense.
