Description:

Jamie T. Kirk is just your average teenage heartthrob (and maybe a bit of an overachiever). On her way to school one day, she rescues a strange black cat that turns out to be the mysterious alien girl Spock, who gives Jamie the power to transform into the Pretty Guardian of the Stars! With the help of her friends, she protects the Earth from alien machinations!

Notes:

The series has about as much continuity as Sailor Moon or Buffy the Vampire Slayer: there is an overarching plot (it's going somewhere, I swear), but each installment is basically a self-contained monster-of-the-week story with occasional references to previous installments, and character and relationship arcs that progress over the course of the whole series.
