Kogoro Mouri had been arrested. When Ran Mouri returned home, she received an “Arrest Notice” from the police, stating that Kogoro Mouri was suspected of “abduction for profit” and “abduction and trafficking of minors,” and was being held at the Tokyo Detention Center. She hurriedly took a taxi to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department to speak with Officer Megure about the situation, only to learn that the charges were true. She was told that if she wanted to see Kogoro Mouri, she’d best hire a lawyer immediately. However, when Ran Mouri and Eri Hime arrived at the police department at the agreed-upon time, they were informed that Kogoro Mouri had refused to meet with them, and Shinichi Kudo was nowhere to be reached. To make matters worse, Kogoro Mouri had been indicted! What on earth is going on? Stay tuned.
