Summary
They’d always been together. They’d been together before they’d been together, though they hadn’t realised it at the time. Soon, the Council would send them on individual missions, dispatching them to planets on opposite sides of the galaxy, putting more lightyears between them than ever before.
Even if Satoru was always with him, he wasn’t really with him. Not enough for Suguru to cover his six, deflecting a blaster bolt to save Satoru’s skin when he neglected to watch his back.
