Voldemort's obsession with killing Harry Potter grinds to a halt when he discovers what Harry is. Killing him isn’t an option. But sparing him reveals a weakness Voldemort never knew he had. What begins as a battle for power becomes a struggle with something far more dangerous: attachment. As Harry challenges everything Voldemort believes, the Dark Lord must decide what he truly fears more: death, or love.

Summary
Having discovered that Harry Potter is a horcrux, Voldemort kidnaps him to Malfoy Manor and very reasonably asks Harry to carry out a ritual with him. The ritual will stabilise their connection and seal his accidental horcrux properly.
When Harry refuses, Voldemort starts using unconventional methods to make him say *yes*.
He really should have thought twice before messing around with Harry Potter.
Alternative scene to my longer story, but can make sense to be read alone as non-con smut.
