“You really shouldn’t be drinking them. You need to have your wits about you to stay safe. Besides, Sol is very clear that drunkness walks hand in hand with wickedness.”
If anyone else had said that to her, Sandra-Lynn would roll her eyes and be happy to point out how limiting that was. In this moment though all she could say was “Do you think Sol is right about that?”
“Well of course I do. I’m his paladin, darlin'. I’m Pamela.”
(Later, she’ll think about how weak her voice must have sounded. She’ll think about how weak she is for not having any beliefs of her own.)
_____________________________________________________________I set out to write a 4+1 of Sanda Lynn telling her loved ones about her past that was going to start with a short prologue of Sandra-Lynn being seduced by Bobby and Pamela. Instead, I spent 3 hours writing the origin story of these three.
