Summary
Kiyomi Ryuuguji, or just "Kiyo," has always been close to Toman as a whole. She's growing up now though, and Toman just seems to keep running into trouble that she just keeps getting dragged into no matter how much she tries to stay away. Everyone is fighting, people are dying, and all she has the heart to do is turn to a pretty boy with pretty eyes and pretty hair and a pretty scarred mouth that likes to pop pills to stay functional and relatively sane.

It was infuriating that I couldn't keep myself together, but I did allow my mind to wander while I was awake, too. So it was still kind of my own fault I couldn't get over this fantasy.
During the daytime, though, I beat the fantasy thoughts down with a big mental stick. I kept repeating to myself, Ran is the one who likes me. Rindou does not. It's weird to want both of them when only one wants me. At least, I hope he wants me. If not, this could get real fucking awkward real fucking fast.

You would think, if you had two teenage kids, that you might wanna keep track of them and if they come home or not? I mean, in canon, Takemichi's parents are never seen at the hospital whenever their son ends up there. Did they care in the slightest when he got beat to hell and back? When he breaks something or gets shot or dodges death? Never seen those fuckers when he does manage to survive that shit.
Jesus, the kid needs me around more than I realize if I'm gonna be helping out. I was remembering Kisaki shooting him in the foot at the Tenjiku fight. Mikey breaking his arm during the battle of the Three Titans. Takemichi fucking getting run through with a katana at the Kanto Manji and Toman fight right at the end. Summary
Mikey was looking at every part of her face individually, as if he were trying to memorize every inch of it. Like he didn't already have every freckle memorized.
He seemed to want to say something. There was nothing he could say. Everything that was coming to his mind just didn't seem right. None of it covered his appreciation, his worry, and his love of Noa.
Noa was in the same boat. She wanted to voice her frustration, her admiration, and her love of Mikey. Nothing seemed to fit, though. There was nothing that could cover all of those emotions well enough.
So, for now, they looked into each other's eyes. Any passerby would've believed they were having a silent conversation, or that they were just reading each other's minds. It was close, but just barely.
Mikey and Noa had a simple problem, one that was slowly becoming more and more prevalent. They both loved each other to the ends of the Earth. They loved each other more than words could ever express, they damn near loved each other more than life itself.
They both would never admit it. Especially not to each other.
