“It’s been nearly a week already Alexander, I am more rested than a particularly lazy and well rested sloth.” He sat down on the edge of the bed, casting a longing glance at the dark sage coloured sheets and heap of matching pillows. He wasn’t tired, he didn’t need to dissolve into a nest of soft cotton and nap for a while, but it did look so inviting.
Alec leaned against the doorframe of the walk-in closet, his arms folded over his chest. “You tried to summon a coffee just this morning and only got an empty cup. Anyway,” he walked over to Magnus who was looking especially forlorn and pouty, “It’s only been three days. You nearly died, Magnus. Please, just humour me and stay off work for a little longer?”
