Summary
"He wanted to slit my throat!"
"But he didn't, seeing how you can still talk so much. Usagi is a very hard-working boy, the best employee I had in a long time."
Usagi gave no indication that the compliment made an impression on him. If anything, he looked even more tired than before the start of this whole conversation.
Leo wasn't about to fall for those empty eyes and lack of will to live."That's cool, because the last guy he worked for wanted us dead."
"See?" Hueso spread his arms. "So it wasn't even his idea. He's a good boy and you'll be nice to him, Pepino, or you'll never get a discount again," he threatened, which was completely absurd and a sign that the whole world had turned upside down after all. Leo blamed the Foot Clan. And Shredder. And Big Mama. "Besides, I'm sure he had a change of heart. Right, Lechuga?"
They both looked at Usagi expectantly. The rabbit took his time, twirling the pen in his fingers for a moment, before finally sighing. And in that same, emotionless voice, he announced:
"My boss fucking died."
Or; When Usagi and Leo first met, they fought.
The best way to start a great friendship!Series

Summary
"My phone," he demanded, tapping his fingers urgently on Donnie's wrist. His twin wasn't carrying his communicator, which most likely meant it had fallen to pieces and no amount of force could put it back together. Although Mikey definitely tried his luck with duct tape,
Raph frowned, and the concern on his face was momentarily replaced by irritation.
"Leo," he started, and there was a warning note in his voice: "If you're thinking about your phone at a time like this, it's a sign that you have a damn serious problem."
Leo huffs in frustration, tapping his brother's wrist once more, this time just to find some outlet for his mounting stress.
"Usagi," he clarified, cursing the increasingly severe pain in his throat. "I have to call him."
Or;
There's time for recovery and time for pining - and it happend to be one and the same.

Summary
“Even if I move out someday, I'll still visit you, we all will. And we'll call each other and go out for pizza together and make fun of Leo and... And it'll probably be different than it is now. And we'll be different. But you'll still be our big brother. And we'll still love you.”
It sounded so simple and sincere coming from him that for a moment Raph couldn't even remember where he had gotten the idea to say otherwise.
“I know,” he sighed. “It's just... Raph kind of panicked, I guess. Mona says, I'm afraid of the 'empty nest' or something.” He smiled, mostly because he really liked saying that name. “And that it's normal, and I just need to, you know. Deal with it. Get on with my own life, like you said.”
Mikey froze and slowly slid out of his arms back to the ground.
“Who's Mona?”

Summary
"Okay, does Big Mama have any family?" he asked, eyeing the blue frosting on the cake warily. "Because it's starting to look like she's really involved. And like someone really likes blue..."
Usagi shoved an entire cupcake into his mouth, then immediately moved on to the second one.
"Maybe it's one of the employees?" he suggested, spitting out crumbs. "We're all like a big family."
Leo gave him his cookie too, mostly out of pity. Some were practically begging for capitalism to enslave them.
"She's already got you all wrapped up in corporate talk. Soon you'll start saying you don't need a raise when you have Pizza Fridays once a month."
Or: Leo and Usagi are invited to a wedding and it gets worse.

Summary
Leo stared at the massive body for a good few seconds, his gaze traveling from the sickly pale, strange face to the remnants of a torn shirt on its scaly back to the far too large, wet bloodstain slowly seeping into the carpet.
He clasped his hands together and pressed his fingertips to his lips, closing his eyes for a moment.
“Why...?”
The situation didn't need a longer summary. But he needed explanations, and the yokai on the floor needed a lot of bandages and probably a quick blood transfusion.
“Who the hell is that?”
Usagi looked away and rocked slightly on his heels.
“Leatherhead.”
Or;
Mikey meets someone new, and Leo's going to make it everyone's problem.

“Is this washing machine telling you, 'Marry me'?”
The tall, gangly teen only blinked, his gaze remaining clear, undimmed by any trace of interest.
“Um... It has a fast spin function.”
Leo narrowed his eyes.
“Is fast spin telling you 'Marry me'?” he asked, completely seriously.

Summary
“He says his name is Jotaro.”
Leo gave him time to elaborate. He did it out of pure habit and maybe to spite himself, because Usagi never elaborated.
“Okay. And where are Jotaro’s parents?” he asked, waving his hand in the air to indicate he needed a little more.
Mikey and Usagi exchanged a second look, which already promised complete disaster, so when neither of them managed a response, Leo walked over to the table and leaned over the child.
“Are you lost? You need help?”
Jotaro didn't even look up at him, fully focused on sucking all his juice through the straw at once, and when the carton finally emptied, he gasped for air as if he'd just drowned.

Usagi is ready for a new challenge. Leo is NOT.Series

“So you’re mad at him because he takes you on dates?” Mikey asked, raising an eyebrow.
“First of all, I'm not mad,” Leo emphasized. “I just... don't understand. And secondly, it's not about the dates themselves.”
Mikey pursed his lips, but you could still see he was trying not to laugh.
“Just about everything the dates represent?"

Summary
Leo decided to give him a week to think it over and cool off, which was one of the biggest mistakes he'd ever made. It took Mikey four days to break the silent strike, call each of them in turn, and, with a very suspicious politeness, invite them over for dinner.
There was no dinner. Only a tiny, otter-like yokai sleeping peacefully in Leatherhead's arms.
“Say hi to Miwa,” Mikey said, smiling like a cat that had finally managed to knock over the cage and catch the canary.
Or;
Mikey is going through something so Leo and Usagi are babysitting.Series
